Nice To Meet You, Oradea!
Today is an exciting and important day for our Fabrit family, because we are growing with nice and talented people in a nice, vibrating and innovation-oriented city.
Today we’re announcing the recent opening of our new office in Oradea, Romania!
For those of you who have worked in small teams, you probably understand our excitement. Just a couple of years ago we were roughly around 7 team members. Fast forward to this year, we are over 40 people, in four different locations.
But without further ado, let’s share some extra details about the new office!
Why Oradea?
Our on-site team of developers was located exclusively in Cluj-Napoca at the beginning.
When we designed our growth plan for the next couple of years, it was clear to us that we should also look outside of Cluj-Napoca for new talent.
Oradea was a natural pick for us because:
- It’s in close proximity of Cluj and allowed us to easily travel between the two locations
- The city is rapidly evolving
- There are a lot of talented, qualified IT specialists

Moreover, the city is quickly evolving and adopting innovative solutions, and the fact that more and more young professionals find it a really good place to live, made our decision very easy. The Team
Right now, the team is rather small – we have four colleagues setting the ground for a much larger team.
Anda, Ioan, Octavian and Claudiu are full-stack developers, working with our “classic” framework stack: Angular and .NET. Furthermore, our new team brings a new capability within the Fabrit family, by working with Ionic, a cross-platform mobile development framework.
Our Projects
One of the most interesting projects the Oradea team is working on right now, is a web platform that aims to fund and build projects of sustainable energy in emerging markets in Africa.
The platform calculates and generates reports with key performance indicators of each site where the projects are planned to be developed.
We’ll reveal more about this particular project, and new ones soon. Until then, you can check some of our projects here.
What’s Next?
As a product development company and digital consultants, we are not bound to a specific location.
We have started our journey in the United Kingdom, but Romania was always our ‘sweet spot’ when it comes to development.
The great results we have achieved these years, has allowed us to grow our development team beyond Cluj-Napoca, the “Silicon Valley of Eastern Europe”.
